In March 2023, we brought basketball and bacon together like never before with Hardcourt Smoked Hormel Black Label Bacon, a specialty bacon smoked over the same northern cherry maple wood used to craft the courts of the Final Four. This exclusive bacon gave college basketball fans the chance to savor the game in a whole new way, with flavors infused by the hardwood of March's most iconic championship floors.

For this unique project, we took inspiration from past Final Four lockups to design commemorative packaging that resonates with the excitement of the tournament. We also launched a dedicated website where fans could register to win one of only 68 limited-edition packs. Each came complete with the Hardcourt Smoked bacon, a certificate of authenticity, collectible wood chips, and coupons—making it a true keepsake for bacon lovers and basketball superfans alike.
